A postdoctoral position is open in a laboratory that studies genetics and epigenetics in relation to infection and immunity in human populations. This is a one year position, with the possibility for renewal/extension. Primary work involves high-resolution genotyping and the identification of genetic markers for differential immune responses to vaccination and HIV infection. The ideal candidate should have sufficient training in molecular biology and/or bioinformatics. Skills in biostatistics are also desirable. Please send application to jtang@uab.edu.
